Jennifer “Hua” Huynh

Jennifer “Hua” Hua is a first-generation Chine­­­se Ame­­rican who currently lives in Arlington, VA with her partner and their dog. She has over 18 years of experience working in higher education institutions and independent schools. Her career started in collegiate Residential and Student Life programs and transitioned into administrative roles in independent schools. She recently was the Director of Residential Life, and the Middle School & Upper School Dean of Students at a day and boarding school in Washington, D.C.

Hua has worked in high-touch, high-achieving educational settings, and offers support by providing achievable goals to ensure success. She has earned her Bachelor of Science and Master in Education from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and a Master in Clinical Mental Health from the Johns Hopkins University. She believes in being able to help others find where they belong, which provides an environment for people to thrive, and continue to nurture their passion.
